Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), *** Durbin (D-IL), and Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) have pledge to filibuster Judge Gorsuch – attempting to deal President Trump a devastating defeat.
The Committee to Defend the President is leading the charge to generate up to 1,000,000 phone calls to the Senate this week – demanding Gorsuch's confirmation.
A full Senate Vote is expected by this Friday! Here is the situation:
Under current Senate rules, 60 votes are required to break any filibuster promised by Senator Schumer and the National Democrats. There are 52 Republican members in the Senate, and at least 3 Democrats have said they will vote for Judge Gorsuch's confirmation and vote to break their colleagues filibuster.
